Fascia Board Replacement
Timber fascia boards rot from the back where you cannot see them — rainwater overspilling a blocked gutter soaks the board, the paint blisters, and within a few seasons the timber is soft enough to push a screwdriver through. Once a fascia has gone soft it can no longer hold the gutter brackets securely, which is why sagging gutters and failing fascia almost always go together. We strip the old board back to the rafter ends, check the rafter feet for rot, and fit a new full-replacement uPVC fascia in a colour and woodgrain to match your home. Soffit Board Replacement
The soffit closes the underside of the eaves and, just as importantly, ventilates the roof. It is quicker and cheaper — but only appropriate when the timber underneath is genuinely sound and dry. If the boards are rotten, capping over simply hides the decay and traps moisture against it.
